Acciaieria di Rubiera was founded in 1965 and it's specialized in steel production, special steel production, steel billets production.
Acciaieria di Rubiera is a leading specialized producer of high quality steel, using scrap iron smelted in an electric furnace.
The steelworks produces:
- ingots for rolling and forging, round, square and polygonal bars;
- continuous casting billets, square and round bars.
The process is divided into: stocking scrap iron, smelting and correction with alloys, casting refinement, finishing the product, controlled cooling of ingots and billets, chemical, physical and mechanical testing of samples and test pieces, stocking finished product.
Acciaieria di Rubiera has achieved quality system certification to ISO 9001:2000.
The steelwork’s production is certified by TÜV, Lloyd's Register of Shipping and Det Norske Veritas.
In the mechanical industry, Acciaieria di Rubiera produce steel for large size rotary bearing races. Its press billets are employed in automotive, agricultural equipment and flange manufacture, among others. |
